The problem with LJ is we all think we are so close, but really we know nothing about each other. So I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Ask away.

Then, if you like, post this in your LJ and ( Read more... )

Ignoring the fact you've probably seenor heard of me once...
Why a rubber skunk?

Originally it was an inverse-colored skunk in a rubber suit, making black-on-white-on-black, which I thought was cool.

Then I got involved with the furry balloons in several fashions, evolving into a skunk balloon... but later downstressing the inflation aspect of it, it became just a (liquid) rubber skunk.

What was school like for you?

Where didja go? Didja get a post-secondary education? What didja study?

Secondary school was pretty troublesome - I was the intelligent overweight geek, and was treated as such by those who found it threatening. I was teased, I was called gay, I was one of the few liberals in a conservative groupthink school/area. It was not that fun. I suppose I was lucky I had friends at all ( ... )

It certainly does seem like we run in similar circles. I've heard things about you and Rael from time to time to time to time to time... MicahFennec-related or not (did you perchance see the pic with myself and acri in it? Thought it was rather cute, though somewhat outdone by the infamous, ahem, raygun sequence...) haven't exactly been sure whether I wanted to be a part of that or not, but with the invitation, I'll definitely take you up on it ( ... )

Well its finally nice to say Hi and such all proper like. As far as the Micah picture of you and Acri in it, I can't not remember. Can you send me a link to it on her VCL gallery to refresh my memory? I see so much of her stuff, and since she is soooo busy it tends to be a blur. Last time she stay over on a weekend, she was working on like... 9 pictures at once... its crazy! LOL ( ... )

I long ago gave up being embarrassed about being a perv... which is unfortunate because humiliation does make people act so cutely. :)

Latexia... wow, it's been rather a while since I've heard of something like that...

The Acri links are hereand here... I don't know how she does it, really, but she does do it, eh?

I do have some experience here and some experience there. Best to write from experience, eh? Well, as much as one can when writing about things.

Which reminds me, I need to keep writing. I have this latex story going...need to get back on it.

Rubber Diaper panties probably says it all about me. ;) Or at least a great deal.

Was the fandom something you found and embraced, or something you merged with, the interests already active in you? (Funny how appropriate the language came out in that. o,O )

Easy question first. Let me answer it by means of explanation.

Before I ever found the Internet, I was interested in dragons and transforming into a dragon, which then got cross-sected into werewolf transformations as well. When I found the Net, I found alt.fan.dragons and alt.horror.werewolves and lurked on them for a couple of years before ever establishing an "identity" (namely because I was using my Dad's work connection). Finding alt.fan.furry wasn't too hard, since there was a lot of cross-pollination between that group and the others.

So the answer is somewhere in between. I had a lot of the building blocks, but furry itself tossed it all together and added some more stuff into that.

No, basically because:

- her parents are divorced;
- her mom and sisters are fairly, um, Texan, and fairly, um... how to put this nicely? ...she doesn't have a lot in common with them.
- her dad is about as much of an ass as you can imagine, think your stereotypical Texan;
- she has even less in common with her extended family;
- I can only take my parents in small doses, namely because;
- My mom is about as anxious and depressive as I am, and constantly worrying about everything;
- My dad is about as reserved and hidey as I am, and we never have anything to talk about except music and computers, and not much about either of those;
- My dad doesn't have much of an extended family;
- My mom's extended family is basically a cornucopia of psychiatric cases, diagnosed and undiagnosed.

And yes.

Also, that's the short form reason why we're not married yet; the last thing we want is a marriage where it is just us and our parents in Santa Barbara. If we're going to do it, we want as many friends as possible and we want it done in a place that we enjoy. I.e. Boston, if we ever get there again.

Just if you were keeping score.
