[nin] I... had a brain explosion today... to see if I still think... [/nin]

Okay...completely brain dead and feeling void today. So in the middle of a giant stink of people getting pissy everywhere, I wrote this stuff down:

It's hard to hate a website called www.oozinggoo.com. And its affiliate actually sells the lava lamp in the exact color scheme that I want (spooge) - for $20 ( Read more... )

purchasing, hypnosis, depression, goo, rl

Sometimes, you have to carve out your own niche and chase what interests you to be recognized. That's the principal of the genius: fixxate on something and pursue it with complete abandon. Such people, might I add, have put human civilization where it is today. We really are standing on the shoulders of freaks.

In other words: write about kinky. :>

Also, in case you didn't know, you can just use the html codes, and they will be displayed just fine. I think ">" and "<" are easy enough to remember. :3

Oh! And I'm here because somebody said you were trying to attract readers. Happy to meet your acquaintance. ♥

Thank you for the compliment. I think.. I think I have been writing about kinky, at least I think that the imaginative associations with lava lamps counts. ;) Of course, I could probably be more focused about it. I have been at points in the past, but I always get this sort of weird stillness in response when I start which makes me skittish.

I'm not necessarily trying to attract readers as much as find new interesting people. And as I mentioned, I feel more confident when I'm getting some amount of support back. Pleased to meet you and welcome aboard.

...somebody said...?

I'm hoping I'm interesting. That's kind of one of my sub-goals on LJ: to make posts that some people want to see. And, um, are really strange.

Yes, I believe that somebody was a friend of yours. I believe it was on queenofstripes' journal, buried in a sea of the usual comments. :3

I didn't know spooge was a colour scheme... I would have thought it was Mist Dawn, but I will admit that Spooge is much more interesting.

Spooge is a way of mind. Imagine wave after wave of spooge hitting your body, sticking to it, covering it, immersing you in it, making you part of it...

A floating vat of spoo just seems like something that no good mad scientist should do without.

A thrift store that I go to often has been getting these nice big lava lamps in recently. They're obviously antique because the lava is this immovable, slightly powdery moldy-looking mass at the bottom. I suppose it could be made into an a aquarium, but I don't think the fish would be too happy.

Depends on the construction of the lavalamp, I think. Some of them are just colored water and what-have-you.

Doesn't exactly sound sanitary, though, no.

These were colored water, I think yellow, but the lava part had long 'expired'. They were very cool looking and heavy construction, but aside from that, yuck! :)

I suppose you could always clean one out and make it into an aquarium, but I'd think that a fish would not be happy swimming around in a narrow vertical tube.

And speaking of extremely dangerous looking household items containings fluids of questionable origin, thinking of lava lamps reminds me of often seeing these strange lamps in stores that slowly dripped globules of fluid along wires. They used to be all over the place but I haven't seen one in 20 years.

That is indeed a most wondrous domain name. ^_^ I ought to pick up another one or two someday - something more for professional purposes, and one just for the fun of it. (And $20 for a reputable brand lava lamp - definitely not bad! I do like that color scheme. Hmm. Don't think I've ever seen one used as the focus of a hypnosis story..)

I will only start talking about politics again when it becomes obvious to me that reason has any place whatsoever in the conversation.I'll admit, that's probably the basic reason I've not been indulging much in politics in my entries of late. Even with all the facts at hand, with it plain that there were no WMDs in Iraq, no imminent threat (frankly, I couldn't see there being. Hussein was a ruthless dictator, but he wasn't suicidal), job creation at the worst rate since Hoover, the debt spiralling, personal savings at a record low, and international opinion of the US at what could charitably described as a low ebb in the face of both the invasion and the public and governmental condoning of torture ( ... )
