Yay for new apartments and new beginnings!
Do you have a kosher mezzuzah? Do you need one?

Next time you are in New Yorkey, give me a ring.

hey mama. yay indeed. thank you for the thought, i do in fact have a mezzuzah being sent to me in a box but even if i didn't- dood, there are so many jews in los angeles it's insane. i've been asking about shuls not because there aren't any but because there are too many to choose from without a recommendation. it's overwhelming, actually. you'd have fun out here. i think of you when i pass nickelodeon studios.

ahh nueva york. one fine day...one fine day...

am i crazy or were you going to move back to florida?

Shomrei Torah way out in Agoura Hills is conservative without being so West Coast you want to scream. The rabbi there is good, too. Rabbi Camras. And there are plenty of younger congregants (that is, still in twenties, even if they have families).
Worth the drive, in my opinion. In L.A. - you're likely to have old shuls, or congregations who do RH and YK in a theatre (banners flown in on batons et al, no I am not hyperbolizing), or Friday Night Live type experiences.
