Good lord. It has been ages since I've posted anything. Which actually brings me to my New Year's resolution: post something (anything!) once a week. Also, comment more. I swear, I'm the worst sort of lurker. But if you're on my f-list, you can rest assured I'm reading your posts with avid interest! ...I'm just crummy at finding something to say

I totally agree with your love for LoM. Unfortunately, I'm not a Brit, so I can't brit-pick the fic. I'd be happy to beta it for everything else, though, if that would be of any help. (I loved "Let Nothing You Dismay," by the way!)

How did I not know you were into LoM? I'm always the last person to the party -- I should know this by now. It's some kind of wonderful, though. Everybody loves a magnificent bastard. And by everybody, I mean me. :D

Also, when I got my DSSS assignment I went off and read/re-read some of your DS fic and it was all awesome, and I wanted to rec most of it, but I thought it might be a bit obvious with the timing and everything. Oh dear, it's FRIGID here too, so horrible. Lucky me, I have oodles of books on Greek drama to read. Yeah, lucky me. I hate Greek drama.

BUT I am happy that you have a new fandom to play in! I have to start watching LoM. Don't hate me, but we watched the American version when it was on and really, really liked it. And the British one is supposed to be better, right?

I sent you an Xmas card, but sadly, I heard from Elynittria that my cards were mangled by the post office, so you probably didn't get it. So mean of them!

Oh dear, it's FRIGID here too, so horrible.

If it's bad here, I can only imagine what it's like for you. The worst bit is that I can't run outside. I don't mind when it's -5C, but -10C is just too friggen cold, plus the sidewalks aren't clear. And yesterday I burnt myself on my space heater ... I may have been draped across it at the time, which I'm pretty sure they don't recommend, but still! *g*

You do! *applies peer pressure* It's excellent, much cleverer than the US version. To be fair, I didn't watch the US one, just the first five minutes and last five minutes of the series on youtube. I'm thinking about really watching it, but it's just not the same, you know? I think Harvey Keitel was miscast -- what they wanted is 90's Reservoir Dogs era Keitel, now he's just a bit too old, you know? Plus the accents irritate me. I may not understand half of what they say on LoM UK, but at least I like the accents!
