Erm. Yes. I actually have amusing snippets to relate from the bbq last night, pointless ramblings aside. Contrary to what you might have expected from the last entry, there was NO mass orgy.

singaporeans just don't seem very receptive to humour; i have a theory that it is because they don't teach it in the educational system. if you want to get them to laugh you're going to have to appeal to the lowest denominator - hokkien or something, i'm presuming.

the last time we watched the count of monte cristo (me g xuan) the three of us were laughing from start to finish. very disturbing as the theatre was so full and still you would have thought it were a low class ward in a china hospital.
