Exhausting and painful and yet exhilarating. Despite a bad start, with rain and mud and a slipper that kept breaking, i actually stayed on the bike for a fair distance, and that was really thrilling. Unfortunately when i stopped i actually started to see flashing colours and felt kinda woozy for a while. Ran into an old man who saw me struggling
