My best friend, Steve, is all the way over in Calgary. He's been there for about 7-8 years now or so and I really miss him a lot. In any case, he's been going through a bit of a tough time lately so I flew out to Calgary to spend the weekend with him and, hopefully, distract him a wee bit. I've been thinking of Steve quite a bit lately (noticed he wasn't on my FB list anymore)...glad to hear he's ok.

Yeah, he's doing fine. A bit of a rough patch - damn relationships get in the way sometime and throw curves at ya when you least expect them too. But, he seems all better now. He's starting a new career soon (expecting a job offer in the next couple of weeks or so) which is also both stressful and exciting for him at the same time.
