LotR was not just printed in three parts because of paper shortages, but to limit the publisher's exposure in case the first volume or two didn't sell well.

Kudos for all the heat and dust, Mary with the career's-not-working blues shifting to things-that-really-matter, and a Disneyland honeymoon. Is a little part of her thinking that's the nearest she'll ever get to a rabbit hole, and not deep down realising how enormously privileged she is to be surrounded by people for whom rabbit holes are real?

I love the thought of Mary and Peter honeymooning at Disneyland. I'll give extra on-line Kudos if you make Aslan appear in the Jungle Book ride! And maybe on a trip or two through It's a Small World After All :) :) It could happen, really, it could.

Ghost Ranch is the name of the place and one of the few where there was active paleontological work going on in the 50s. I'd had my eye on it for a while and decided to use it here. Thanks again. The next chapter is up.
