i just realized tonight that i won't ever play with the people i know in wind ensemble ever again. like, in carlisle, i knew i was coming back to the good band and the people i knew. but now, i know i'm not going to ever play with dylan on saxophone, molly on french horn, karl playing trombone, emily playing her trumpet, ever again. it's really sad

I know what you mean. Today I got an email from youth symphony saying they need players for this year. One of the openings was for french horn and it makes me want to go home and join.

And seven years was a realllly long time to play next to you.

my mom sold my french horn (against my wishes) the other day. i cried for days.
