Claude Rains was dead to begin with. There is no doubt whatever about that. But Gary, for reasons known only by him, had used the name for his LiveJournal moniker. Sometimes players new to the competition called Gary Gary, and sometimes Claude, but he answered to both names: it was all the same to him
