Remus just needs some lovin' is all. He is so smexy when he getsallinsecureandthenTonkssetshimstraightandthentheyhavetehseks.

This is a lovely idea with Tonks giving Remus the opportunity to say his vows again. I really like the slow burn of forgiveness that you have written in this series. The morning frost makes the afternoon sunshine all the sweeter.

I am horrified to discover I am not your friend! Mind if I friend you?

Thanks for the kind words! I like the way you put it -- slow burn of forgiveness -- and I'm glad it struck you that way, because that was definitely the idea.

And -- no horror necessary, but I would be delighted if you wanted to friend me!

I think you've done a wonderful job with this series and made sense of a very difficult part of the R/T timeline. I really like the voice you've given Remus - it's equal parts and disbelieving and it's heartbreaking to read, as it much be for Tonks to hear. I think her reactions to him are spot on and it's just lovely in this last instalment to see her finally having broken through to tip the balance of Remus' emotions towards happy and hopeful.

I've enjoyed this series a lot, thank you. :)

I really appreciate your kind words, because I was trying a few new things with this story. I'm especially happy to hear that Remus's voice works, as well as Tonks's reactions, and that you found this plausible as a follow-up to Remus's meltdown at Grimmauld Place. I wanted to try to capture the turning point, when Harry's anger and Tonks's belief in him and in their marriage start Remus down the road that leads to his joy at Teddy's actual birth.

I just read through my comment again quickly and noticed that a crucial word had carelessly got itself lost, lol. It should have read "...equal parts hopeful and disbelieving..."

Anyway, it'd be great to read a about Teddy's birth in this 'verse, hint hint. ;)

I'd guessed it was something along those lines. ;)

Aw, I'm very happy that you'd like to see more! This story is actually part of my overall R/T series, "Kaleidoscope," and I'm writing it out of sequence, but it will eventually span from OotP to, well, maybe a couple of days before the final battle (heh). Teddy's birth will definitely make an appearance at some point!

This is such a lovely conclusion. I really liked the way Tonks had Remus repeat his vows to her; I felt his emotion so plainly, and so raw, and got a little misty!

You handled the romance deftly, too. I think you should definitely do more. ;)

Well done. This has been a great read. :)

Thanks for your kind comments! I'm happy you liked the conclusion. I thought Remus needed to make a very large gesture to convince Tonks he was back for good, and renewing wedding vows seemed to fit the bill.

I'm really glad the emotion was palpable -- and delighted that you liked the romance, since your stories always melt my heart. :) The way I've set up my ficverse timeline, almost all the straightforwardly romantic scenes are going to be DH, so it was fun to have a chance to finally try out some romance here!

Incidentally, I owe you and the other metamorfic_moon mods a thank-you for the dialogue discussion a few weeks back, which was what got me thinking about trying a first-person Remus POV. :)

He looks right at me, and his small red fist curls around my finger.

And he giggles.

This, and Dora's response to the emotions in his face, was just perfect and lovely.

A sweet, hopeful ending to a great fic.

Aw, thanks so much -- I'm happy you liked it. I actually wanted the emotions in his face bit to be a tie-in to the post-Seven Potters moment when Tonks finally arrives -- "His face was set and white: He seemed unable to speak." I like that canon description -- it's exactly how I imagine Remus would react to really strong emotion.
