Oy this was sweet and very, very sad at the same time. Especially the part where James trusts Remus with something that means a lot to him, - at the time when Sirius doesn't.

I really loved it!

Remus said to Harry in DH, "No, I think your like James, who would have regarded it as as the height of dishonor to mistrust his friends." This line pretty much sparked inspiration for the story, proof (to me) that even though Sirius had mistrust in Remus, James never did.

I agree, it's nice to see some James-Remus friendship (doesn't happen that often, for some reason). Another saddish thing is that James helped Remus to reach Tonks, and they met the same fate. Marauders-R/T is a great combination, this was a pleasure to read!
