Oh wow. This is stunningly beautiful. The linework is so simple, but I think you've perfectly captured the need I was hoping to convey in the fic. (And I'm glad you took the artistic license and made Tonks' hair pink, because it works better as a stand-alone piece of art that way, and really emphasizes that this is Remus and Tonks.) Their posture is just perfect, and I love the steam around them which does so much for the mood of the piece.

Remus has really nice legs and a cute bum, too, exactly as I would imagine.

Simply exquisite work. One of my very favorite pieces ever. Thank you so much for doing it!!

His bum is cute just for you and the others in this community who hanker to squeeze it. (This image just flashed into my head for an icon: the white gloved hand of a Mrs. Potato-Head sneaking into the frame and pinching Remus's @$$ *snort* - but it's probably only funny to me.)

This was really fun - and so easy after that bear of an animation last week. Though I might still go back and fix her left hand again. I thought it was ok enough to let it go but now it's bugging me again.

Thanks for letting me post this and for the idea to draw it after your discussion post. It's mighty obvious that I really enjoy your fics.

LOL I actually think the Mrs. Potato-Head arm sneaking into the frame is a hilarious image. So you're not alone. ;)

I got photoshop and started drawing in December - how that came about is a long story that you can read in my (still very small) journal if you want to - and have been learning from books and tutorials. I've been a bit compulsive about it, actually. In addition to reading tons and tons of fanfiction (mostly R/T), I also really love to troll deviantart and have come across a few digital artists whose work I greatly admire. I just look at what they have done and then think, "Ok - so I know that's possible, now how do I do it?" and then I fool around with Photoshop until I figure it out. I really need to stop this and sleep more. *blinks bleary eyes* ... or I could just start drinking coffee.

BTW: are you an Orson Scott Card fan? (referencing your screenname)

yes yes yes! No one has ever asked about my username but yes, it is a Card reference. I really loved Ender's Game (possibly more than Harry Potter! *gasp*) and read both series branching off, Speaker for the Dead and Ender's Shadow. Right now I am reading another OSC book called Past Watch. What books have you read?

Just reading off my bookshelf (which I can see from my computer):
The ENTIRE Ender series
The Earthborn series (yes, all of them. I even read The Book Of Mormon because I was so into the Earthborn stuff and wanted to get the backstory, so to speak)
Alvin Maker (My Favorite by far! I really hope he gets around to writing Master Alvin someday)
Plus a few others that I don't own. Um... Flux, Lost Boys, Something about a box in which the protagonist was named Fears, pronounced "Fierce"?

This is gorgeous, and very sexy, and an absolutely lovely tribute to such a good fic.

So that I don't show how completely shallow I am by mentioning his bum to start with, I shall say that you've really captured the grief and need of them both - I love how her pink head is buried in his shoulder and the fierce clasp of her arms round his neck. And OK, yes, it did take me a little while to stop looking at his bum, which is very nice indeed. ;)

Really wonderful.:D Mind if I friend you so I can admire some more of your art?

I'm so glad you like this! mrstater's writing just makes me want to draw. My very first piece of fan art was totally her fault (another phenomenal fic) and now there's this fanart monster that refuses to let me pay attention to anything other than drawing.
