I'm happy to say I don't know what it's like to grow up without parents, but Teddy's reactions here seem very real -- he can't miss them in the same way that people do who knew them, but he can regret not knowing these people that others around him loved, and -- maybe most viscerally -- he can miss having parents.
I love the glimpses of his parents' happiness that Teddy pieces together from the photos and the Pensieve, and the snippets of personality you bring out in those images. And I really love the way Teddy thinks of Harry, that what he does usually has a Big Point. And of course Harry would have a very good sense of what it means for Teddy to see a Pensieve memory of his parents.
And that last paragraph is a fantastic ending.

:) I am glad that you loved what went into the fic, because writing it was a little like putting together little small elements, that are probably disjointed but fit together in my mind - if I managed to write them that they fit, I am glad!
:)) Thank you very, very much!!
