This was really wonderful- you describe things really uniquely, with really few overused phrases. You used the prompt really well too. I liked the line about being tangled like a litter of kittens. I really really liked this. Great job! Sorry I'm being so incoherent right now, I just can't express how much I liked this- it just felt really fast and slow at the same time, really in the moment- it caught me and I couldn't stop reading it. Really wonderful job!

I am glad that I've stayed away from the overused phrases. It's ... for me it's about getting the right phrase that fits at that place in the story, so probably I usually come up with more or less my own stuff.

The litter of kittens - I am glad you loved it! ^_^ it's borrowed from Heinlein; but it seemed to fit!

Wow. This is so beautiful, and I especially love the sort of fic where Tonks lets her guard down. I was nearly in tears at one point (though admittedly I'm in a teary sort of mood), you just portrayed their emotions so intensely. I would write more, but I want to go and re-read it now :D.
