That's a quite different take than I've ever seen taken on that particular "Leave of absence". While I enjoyed it, I don't personally think canon Tonks would react that way, due to her high-spirits and vibrant emotion.

Mmmm, yes, I see your point. I kind of just thought that the side of Tonks that Harry sees is really the happy vibrant, high-spirited one, but maybe there was a whole different thing there that he doesn't see. I kind of think that she says a lot of these things because she's just really tired of trying to stop Remus and ending up getting hurt because he leaves anyway, so she just lets him go, and it hurts less than it should. But, yes, I see your point. Thanks so much for reading though, and I'm glad you shared your opinion. :D

Mmmm, I don't think I could ever hate Remus, I try to sometimes though, just to write a really a good shouting and screaming fic, but I never seem able to get away with it.

Mmmm, yes, my Tonksmuse decided some girl power without the shouting, and I think her true strength doesn't lie in her being a good Auror, I think it's in understanding Remus and his overprotectiveness and his need to feel wanted.

A nice and gentle and loving interpretation - and I think it works splendidly. Great use of dialogue here - the fic just clips along and emotion is conveyed perfectly. Some good allusions to possible motivations, as well. Lovely!

The one where he throws it behind him and tries to catch it but he drops it and Dan tries to catch it but it still falls to the floor? That was just too adorkable. :D
