In a word: beautiful. But the lack of beta makes it slightly confusing at times, and difficult to follow. You get the message across still, and it reads like poetry. I like it.
Thank you. R/S- R/T is often so strongly bitter on one side and i hate that... anyway, I was nervous about posting it but it's really R/T all the way through so that must count for something.
I liked it, a lot, but there's a couple of catches: it'd be easier to read with standard PC paragraph formatting, and there are a few places where you've put 'apart' instead of 'a part'. Then there's She tries to desperately to listen where I think you need to take out the first 'to'.
But it was nice and poetic and you're right to be proud!
First, I must set you have sirius courage posting a R/S-R/T fice here. I tip my hat to you.
Second, It was beautifully writen. How Remus loved Sirius as a boy, but does not love the man the same way. And how he's realised he loves Tonks like he used to love Sirius. *I think*
It was a risk... but it is SO more R/T than it is R/S. And I love to see how other people make the shift from R/S to R/T. Although I'm an R/S shipper, I only believe in it up to the time that Sirius goes into prison. I mean honestly, they were only boys then. You are so right. Sirius is in NO shape to have a relationship when he gets out of prison and I think he would just need Remus to just be there in a purely platonic way because he's familiar. You know? But that Sirius is not DUMB (i hate how in all R/S-R/T fics Sirius doesn't understand and is bitter), he would understand and be happy. He's reckless and crazy but not an emotional idiot. ; ) Thank you for the comment... I'm sorry I went off on a tangent.

One caveat: "the sound of slapping skin is a symphony"...Um. There's poetic, and then there's...ew.

It needs a beta, badly.
Thank you for the point-outs.

Unlike most R/S'ers, you can accept R/T. Do I like it, no. But whatever. I do wonder if some more will wander over to R/T now.
As to their schoolyears, all I will say is that there were four boys living in a dorm and they were all friends.
*whistles innocently*
