This is nice -- I'm glad you decided to do a follow-up. I like this Tonks; cute with her crush on Remus, and still child enough to tune out during the boring grown-up conversation. I liked the bit about not being able to control her hair color, and McGonagall's disapproval of the wild colors. The Andromeda/Remus interaction was nice as well; you can tell they aren't exactly close, but Andromeda is supportive.

I can just imagine McGonagall's sneer of dissaproval as Tonks walks into class with lime green hair. :)

I love the followup- very crafty of Tonks to trip on purpose. Remus must be quite dishy indeed. ;)

Cute. I think we can all remember having crushes on older men when we were that age--teachers, neighbors, store clerks, etc. You captured the feel of that very well.

I can just see little Nymphadora flipping through the family photo albums a few times a year, and noticing the dishy fellow in several of the pictures. Very brave and clever of her to go out of her way to attract his attention when she finally sees him again.

And I like the relationship between Remus and Andromeda--I think its a very realistic portrayal of what they might be like.
