Before we get to the prompt of the day, this is a refresher from the sadly-still-awake mod.
If you have posting access, that means you read the FAQs. Which means, of course, that you already read what I'm copying and pasting:
Question: I live in a time zone on the edge of the earth far ahead of everyone else. Can I post at the crack of midnight?
Answer: No. The mods realize that everyone lives in different time zones, which is why we announce (“open”) each new prompt every day to officially signal the start of a new rt_challenge posting day for everyone. Please try not to jump ahead of the Prompt Posts, even if it's already a new day where you live. This is to keep things unified, fair for all, and to keep in the spirit of a daily ficathon. Otherwise, what's the point?
Please, follow the rules and show that you didn't just skim the FAQs we worked on for a really long time because that's not cool, yo.
