awww. that was sweet. i'm happy Remus got home. Why weren't Tonk's parents still around? I doubt Andromeda would let Tonks be in the hospital by herself very long.

Warning: long answer to a short question.

I imagine Tonks and her mom to both be very stubborn and opinionated women. They probably would have practically hated each other when Tonks was a teen and going through that whole rebellion thing. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure they always loved each other, but it would have been yelling matches. Now that Tonks is older and on her own, they are much closer but they can still get on each other's nerves. I figured Tonks was to the point where she was feeling better and was going stir-crazy being stuck in the hospital and her mother would have made things worse. She talked them into leaving for a few hours so she could have some peace.

That or I just wanted Tonks' and Remus' reunion to be just them. Your choice which explanation you like better. Either way, I have started on the piece for Wed. and Ted and Andromeda are back.

haha! i'll take both explanations and honestly i probably would have left the 'rents out too. but bravo on having such great reasoning behind why they weren't there.

I think this is the best in the series so far. Very sweet--I feel warm and fuzzy all over. :)

Thanks much. Between work and the attempt at a fic a day, I fell like I've been rushing these some. I made my self slow down on this one so that is probably why it is the best so far. I hope to rework them all after the ficathon ends and I magically find some time. Any suggestions on how I should improve them when the time comes are always welcome :-)
