Jill snorts, “Yeah that’s what you said about Fire of Unknown Origin last week.”

“No, really this one is my absolute favorite forever,” Tori says still staring at the ceiling.

“Not forever, just until the next time you go to the record store.” Jill says.

Oh, this is really nice. Just perfectly done. The dialogue is spot-on and all of the accompanying actions paints the most clear picture. I LOVE the idea that her most fave album recently is a vintage classic. Clever! I love this.

I really let the topic psyche me out this week and was just relived to have posted an entry and you commented on it right as I was dashing off to work so even though I couldn't respond I got to go with good feelings about what I'd written!

Jill and Tori had spent every night this week listening to vinyl records from the collection Tori had started over the summer. It filled an entire wall of shelves she’d dubbed the “The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.”

Tori would quietly knock, sing-songing her name, and Jill

she declares, retrieving

“Get out of my house.”

Jill says, sliding

She knows Tori hates it when she listens to music when she walks alone after dark but Jill doesn’t care and the campus isn’t that far. - break that sentence up - either commas or two sentences

and hits Send

Attending an all women's college made it especially unique. I wish I had stayed in touch but I ended up moving to the other side of the country right after my last semester and even missed the commencement ceremony.
