I must confess I came up with this less than 2 hours before the deadline because I didn't like what else I had come up with and kept picturing myself just repeating the topic over and over, a "victim" of an "experiment" gone horribly wrong and what else is idol if not a grand social experiment run by a mad man very fine gentleman (no picking on gary on the big day I suppose)

It's pretty brilliant from that angle - an inside Idol joke, if you will, but with the ability to be read from a larger perspective! That's something to be very pleased with yourself about! ;)

It's exhilarating when you can sit down and produce something like this on a deadline in a short short piece of time!
