So, in between non-renewable inter-library loans, I've finally gotten around to reading Palimpsest. Now that I've read the whole thing, and not just excerpts, I still recommend it, but with caveats

much of this description sounds like that which could belong to a delany novel!

looking at the amazon page for the book, that page doesn't make it sound like one at all.

Hmmm. I'm not sure that I entirely think so, but it's not a totally invalid comparison. I'd look at the link to the excerpt in my last post, and judge for yourself.
