Summary: The thing about your dad being Pete Wentz is that there isn't a whole lot you can do to rebel. when in doubt, choosing Portland is rarely the wrong way to go!

I loved this - quiet, sweet and unexpected. I can totally picture them living their indie life in some of the neighborhoods I know (they'd fit in perfect around my office location)

Thank you! They seem very much like they'd fit in well in Portland. (In the part of the story I never wrote, they end up in a house which they outfit with a very large dining room table so they can have dinner parties and host family Thanksgivings.)

I really like how they grow together and that it starts as way to be a bit rebellious. The line about it being Gabe's fault was fun.

ahhh this is perfect. It's a fascinating thing to think about, rebelling when your dad is Pete Wentz - and this is so domestic in comparison, it makes a scary amount of sense. (although I really can't see Pete disapproving when Bronx followed his own "what would Gabe do" mantra :D)

♥ I'm glad you liked it! (Pete still has time to mature and/or become sensibly afraid of what Gabe's influence might do to his kid.)

I really liked the quiet sense to this. Evie & Bronx just making it work...even if it did start off as a "rebellion". I especially laughed at them throwing Uncle Gabe under the bus!
