Oh, oh, I totally did not expect that. Thank you. *hearts*

This is bittersweet in the best way. The contrast between the two couples had me catching my breath. Lily particularly is so young and optimistic, especially against Remus' bitterness. The difference those extra years make is so powerful and Sirius' decision to lie is perfect.

I snickered at First thing I always wonder, when I get involved with someone: is this part of Dumbledore's grand plan?, because, yes, quite.

Thank you so much.

Ah, you saw it! Wonderful. Thank *you* so much, sweetie. Pinch hitters are a blessing generally, and there's nothing more reassuring than to see your name on the list and know that we'll get a fabulous gift in record time. *drums on her armrest*

Happy 2010! *hugs* M.

I've been thinking about Lupin and Sirius as young men again in the forest scene in DH ever since I read it, and this was one way it seemed to make sense. Thanks so much for reading! M.

I loved the unreality of the afterlife (or the unreality of life, rather).

Ah, I really like it put that way, thank you. Glad you enjoyed, and thanks for commenting! M.

I like James and Lily's naivety - it seems right that they are so calm and peaceful in the afterlife.

I love the idea that a naive Lily and James might actually fasten onto the right idea, as I think they may here. Thanks for reading! M.

This was definitely a unique take on the afterlife, but I'm not sure I can wrpa my mind around a place where a fiction is the reality for everyone. will Peter's fiction be that he is innocent? And then how will Sirius and Remus react to that? You've given me lots to think about, thanks for writing this.

*smile* Perhaps this is too manipulative of me as the author--wanting to leave things open this way--but I do love thinking of Peter as the fly in the ointment, even here. Thanks for reading! M.
