Ahhh, so perfect! I love the exploding missives and the maddeningly vague instructions, the newsie and the festivities, and especially the secret gay bar (with a litmus test door, no less) with a grouchy bartender. Albus was not unexpected once the year was established but I love his casual "I know you've been following me" brilliance and badassery with the drugged drinks and holding them at wandpoint. I like to think, too, that he remembers this later on, and it becomes a self fulfilling time loop. Love it, thanks so much!

So sorry for the incredibly late (omg so late!) reply. I have no excuse, except to say that I seem to have more holes than swiss cheese in my memory.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, and I very much enjoyed writing this. Thanks for the great inspiration in your prompts :D

Ooh, this is so clever and interesting, and I love that Dumbledore sent them back in time to meet himself - that's just the sort of weird shit that Dumbledore would pull. And you did such a lovely job with all the anxiety and strain of the war, and I could really feel the Remus was wound up tighter than a clockwork toy, poor lad. Also, this?

Remus didn’t know quite how to feel. Except a lightness bubbled up in his chest. Sirius loved him. Sirius still loved him.

*melts into a gooey puddle*

Also, how I wish there could be magic doors that could read your sexuality. Would've saved me a lot of trouble if someone could've said, 'Shaggy, stop banging your head against a brick wall, take two steps to the left and try the revolving door of bisexuality and fuckwittage.' /wistful.

I wouldn't reply on someone else's work but your note below was just too good to pass up reading! Revolving door of bisexuality!

Thanks for the great comment. I'm sorry this reply is months (months!) too late

Btw I, too, wish the door was a real thing. It would have saved me a lot of time and angst.

Ooo what a fun adventure! I loved the idea of Sirius and Remus travelling back in time together, and the admission that they loved each other was so sweet! Young Dumbledore was great as well, and you've definitely got me wanting more of this adventure! <3

Ooh, this is so cool! I love the idea of Dumbledore sending them back to talk to...himself. Such a Dumbledore thing to do. :D Makes you wonder why he lost that memory when he was older. Very intriguing story (and sweet too *g*).

Thank you! I apologize for replying to this comment so late (at least it's the same year?) *sheepish*

Thanks again!

Oh what a truly clever idea. I love the idea of Dumbledore sending them back to talk to himself. Not to mention the reason it had to be the two of them. Dumbledore has always valued love above everything else, that's clear even in canon. So sending back the pair that not only also understand being gay, but also understand difficult love... brilliant. Also, sort of adored Arthek, grumpy and protective. Just a wonderful read. Lovely job.
