I don't know what Remus is making such a fuss about. Sirius is being so perfectly reasonable - he could've asked for a giant swan, but that would've been silly.
Remus reflected that regular exposure to hallucinogens might explain a great deal about the behaviour of Sirius’ extended family.
otoh, he may have a point there.

I love all the little details, and such tantalizing hints at more stories that could be told - I'm very curious, suddenly, about Sirius's past cooking attempts...
