+ What a beautifully grumpy Remus. I do love me some grumpy!Remus.
+ I like how Sirius isn't even slightly bothered his grousing and is always ready to deter complaints with kisses and such. (I like to think this is Sirius' main job re Jovenalia, "don't worry, Prongs, if Moony starts kicking off I'll distract him... the sacrifices I make for you and Jovenalia...")
+ Jovenalia is the most mystic and beautiful of all winter festivals, and only purely coincidentally sounds anything at all like juvenalia, I'm sure.
+ Besides, why bother with wishes when he had what he wanted out of life: friends, love, Sirius. Awww. ♥ ♥ ♥
+ Literally everything about HL-986. ALL OF IT! Oh, god, those ridiculous threats of violence had me wheezing with laughter.
+ Pardon?” asked Remus, entirely failing to get the Muggle pop-culture reference seven years too early LOL
+ Venus, great Goddess of Love… Earth, yup, that’s ( ... )

But... yay! I am soooooooo glad you liked it. It was tons of fun to write and your prompts/wishes were great. I am particularly glad you were amused at the Princess Bride reference and Remus' reaction to it.

Aahh this was such a lovely story, filled with so much warmth and silliness. Exactly what is ALWAYS needed.
I am so into any kind of weird wizarding tradition and this one really takes the cake. I pretty much did a backflip from pure joy when they all had to go get changed into their special, velvet outfits- AND JAMES' HAT WITH THE SPINNING JUPITER ON TOP!!!!!
That's it, I'm done. That completely finished me. I have never loved anything more than this.
Such a wonderful, funny thing to be able to end the day with. SO GOOD!

Jovenalia sounds delightful. I love how Remus and Lily are willing to mostly play along with the insanity.
