Here lies mutuisanimis, who died from an overdose of bittersweet ADORABLE WOLFSTAR.

Just. Wow. Your prose is beautiful and if I quoted my favorite likes it would be 19k long so I won't. But you captured Sirius and his thought process wonderfully, and your Remus is an absolute treat, and MARLENE WAS SO FAB and the whole thing about Frank amused me to no end.

And it's so sad that we know they can't continue like this, but here, just for this moment... *clutches heart*

THANK YOU! Your comments are the sweetest; I'm thrilled that you liked it and that Sirius came out all right, because he's such a joy to write!

(It makes me so sad too, poor things! :( But then I always start thinking, well, what if. What if things were nicer? WHAT IF. Basically, I just want to drop these two into a nice house with some blankets and some cocoa or something, because, oh, do they ever need it.)

(I already live in denial and it's pretty warm and pleasant here, so, yes--we absolutely should!)

This is lavish and beautiful and perfect. I just, I can't put words to it, but it's such extravagantly lovely prose, it evokes love and wonder and change, sometimes with the lightest touch and sometimes with all the great weight those things require. I love your Sirius and his ridiculous interior monologue and I love how in love he is, how much he wants to do things right, and how much Remus loves him in return. And in its way, it's heartbreaking - all that growing old together they're never going to have! Oh, so lovely.

Oh gosh, what a sweet comment! Thank you so much, it makes me really happy to know you liked it.

I feel like Sirius is probably the sort of person to keep a lid on things until they start to boil over, and then it's like popping a champagne cork--every bit of internal monologue is coming out, explosively. I'm so glad to hear that this resonated with you--your comment left a huge smile on my face, so thank you, again! ♥

Your writing is gorgeous. Pure poetry.  This story was so detailed and full of love. Getting to see Sirius come to terms with his sexuality and with his love for Remus felt like intruding into his very soul. He was so three dimentional.

Loved the dialogue and Sirius' thought process and the humor of the piece. And how you present the Wizarding world and the attitudes toward varied sexuality was also very creative.

I'm going to pretend that this is an AU universe and that Sirius and Remus are growing old together in the way that Sirius imagined.

The dialogue was definitely one of my favorite bits to write, so I'm ridiculously happy you liked it! And hey, AUs are beautiful, beautiful things--ESPECIALLY the AUs where people get to be happy and don't do things like, well, die--so I am 300% for this. They'd look great going grey together.

Thank you so much for your comment! What a wonderful thing to read. ♥

Okay, I know I'm missing the larger point here, but BONUS DYKES! So exciting. Loved the Marlene/Sirius relationship--the way someone just a bit older and more fluent in the ways of the world can be important in the way Marlene was for Sirius. Much love for her scenes.

Fabulous fic more generally, too! The effusive quality of the prose took me right inside Sirius' world. M.

LOL. I'm so happy you liked Marlene--she was a blast and a half, and I really like the idea of Sirius having someone a bit older and maybe a little more removed from his immediate Marauder BFF group to talk to sometimes and help him sort himself out (and I'm all about bonus dykes to be honest). Thanks so much, I'm happy you liked it!
