that was just darling and the boys were genuinely boys. that's important in a fic because they are boys, after all, are they not? in fact that boyishness is one of the things that gave the whole story character and really made the camping idea shine. it was a great use of the prompt too and i liked how the picture worked its way into the story.

ps. and yes i had to do that because of the cute little post scripts in the story, remus's gran was really nice and i totally agree with peter about her being legend.

I love the atmosphere and mood of the camping trip. The shared stories, Peter's more realistic characters, the failed attempts at fishing, the late night/early morning skinny dipping--it all comes together so well. They're such a happy group. Remus and Sirius are so awkward about each other, it's lovely.
