I liked how, in addition to seeing Sirius and Remus's relationship through Remus's eyes, you also showed it through several of the other characters, that added an interesting dimension that wouldn't be seen through Remus.
Remus and his cards... I loved that, right from the start. I could picture him there with his mark and his cards, collar up and shivering just to seem vulnerable as you put it. Then full circle to the end with Remus and his cards again and Sirius's
"You touch the one you want me to pick like you touch me.”
So sweet.
I thought your opening was well done too. This cacophony of calls that at first don't seem to mean anything, but then kind of catch you by surprise when you figure out why the bustle of calls.
Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed this. Thanks for sharing.

I must confess that I have a bias for Remus as a conman, ever since reading Sam Vimes' fic Professor, but man, the idea of the whole gang pulling such elaborate cons together! YEAAAAAAAAH take Riddle down! All the details on this were so awesome, from the beginning where it opens with phone calls and the voicemails and Sirius's Good Morning Class and Tonks was so cute and inexperienced, I just want to hug her but not when I have any valuables in my pockets, and Sirius and Remus were just.
