Just, thank you for writing that, for giving these characters something so tender and beautiful and sweet. Having something that loving and wonderful, just one moment like that, for me it's enough to make it worthwhile and balance out all the other sadness that they went through/will go through in canon. That final line is a bit of a sneaking punch, considering what's to come, and yet I'm still just so happy from reading the rest of it that it doesn't even matter.

You wrote some really beautiful imagery and this was a pleasure to read.
