Hey, well done, this was great! I liked that despite them both being unhappy with the way things were panning out in their lives, they were still realistic about how things could be if they ran away (Sirius worried they would starve or freeze, lol). I was hoping so much that it would all end happily and I'm so glad that it did! Also, love musician Remus busking in the train station and antiques Sirius was a great step too.

That was very lovely and lyrical and I enjoyed it very much, mystery author. You well managed to make it seem like canon even though it was very clearly non magical au. That's very impressive. Everyone seemed 'right' if you know what I mean. The ending was perfect, too.

i don't really know a lot about non-magic au, but i liked this a lot. it was so much fun to read and i was happy to read something happy, too. i'm sure that sounded rather silly, but it is how i feel. your characters also felt very much as if they were straight from the books even thought they could not do magic and had never heard of hogwarts. i have a thing for an abused remus and you did that very well without making it all stupid and over the top, but i was really in love with what you did with sirius. he felt like sirius in the books because he was so into what he believed in and so not into his family. i'm so glad he did not marry that awful amy girl. he would have lost the business anyway and he clearly loved it.
