that was really cute and what an original idea!

i love it when sirius would do anything (even muggle things like building a skylight) for remus and this story really did that well. they were so cute together and it was nice to see them happy and building a life (and a house hee hee) with each other.

it was also a great use of the prompt.

That's how I want to imagine them - living in the house in Scotland, looking at the stars and being happy.

Really loved the concept here. And Sirius who just wants to make Remus happy. I also liked the undercurrents about Sirius' Dad - that was such an original approach.

A really enjoyable story.

Ah goodness, this is just way too charming!!I loved it to pieces, can I find myself a Sirius like this?!Such a perfect being he is!!Seriously, the thoughts, the way Sirius's thinking changes during the various phases of his life, his thoughts about his father really flowed so easily and naturally.

And of course the laying of the glass roof, haha, loved the tension there. His mini heart attack was fun to read!

Gosh,I just keep imagining this and wanting to run away to a place like this and find a little haven of my own which I can fix up in a very 'The notebook' style!hehe!Sweet fic here!

Oh I loved this, you painted the detail of the setting and the renovations (and the weather!) so vividly I felt like I was there. I love that they could appreciate the house exactly because of all its faults, because of what it meant to them both. And the thought of Orion secretly approving was beautiful.

This was absolutely adorable, so very heartwarming and it put a huge smile on my face! The idea of Remus and Sirius raising chickens in the Scottish countryside is wonderful in itself, and you tell the story with so many witty observations (the state of the house when they first moved there gave me very vivid images :)), letting the love between them shine through every word. Oh, and the idea of Orion secretly approving of his son, just lovely. Fun, sweet and all-around heartwarming read!
