the way you draw comics, also, is beautiful. perfectly designed for the web. is that a weird thing to say? it felt very vertical, in a way that i really loved. the white space was used really well.
i really love the story, and all the little things that make it feel rich and lived-in -- i loved whiny james, and lily standing strong, doing maintenance work. and all of the plants... it was a really fun mix of fantasy and sci-fi and it felt both new and kind of -- mythic. like a fairytale from the future.

[spoilery waffling]This is utterly beautiful, charming, funny, sweet, heartwrenching - I smiled the whole way through, my face hurts a bit. I'm beaming around the house like an idiot. I don't even mind!
I want to post every snippet of dialogue I found brilliant, but it would possibly be all of the dialogue - James giving Remus grief about his hair really hit the spot for me, especially Lily's remark - and then Remus fixed his hair! Blargh! Crushy R/S makes me weak in the knees, and right now they are jelly and I may never walk again. I am inexplicably, distressingly, in love with the way you introduced Sirius. And his hair! it's so fly-away and perfect, it really caps off the space feel. Of ( ... )
