Oh... oh. If that wasn't bittersweet and lovely. I love not just the idea of a star delivering the mail, but the sorts of things the mail was. That Sirius could deliver Remus' love, that was just a wonderful touch. And I do love the uniforms. And Sirius' hair. Definitely his hair. I kind of want to pet it.

I LOVED THIS SO MUCH!!! the art is so beautiful. you draw them both so well -- remus as kind of closed in on himself and scared, and sirius as beautiful and kind of -- both inhuman but also not afraid to want things. it's just such an amazing combination??

the way you draw comics, also, is beautiful. perfectly designed for the web. is that a weird thing to say? it felt very vertical, in a way that i really loved. the white space was used really well.

i really love the story, and all the little things that make it feel rich and lived-in -- i loved whiny james, and lily standing strong, doing maintenance work. and all of the plants... it was a really fun mix of fantasy and sci-fi and it felt both new and kind of -- mythic. like a fairytale from the future.

OH MY GOODNESS! I have so been looking forward to this, with every fibre of my little heart, and as soon as I got home today I got a cup of tea, some biccies, locked the door, demanded no one disturb me, and dived right in with a huge grin on my face. I am going to spoiler cut this because I sort of lost the ability to be brief, or coherent, or to ever shut up.

[spoilery waffling]This is utterly beautiful, charming, funny, sweet, heartwrenching - I smiled the whole way through, my face hurts a bit. I'm beaming around the house like an idiot. I don't even mind!

I want to post every snippet of dialogue I found brilliant, but it would possibly be all of the dialogue - James giving Remus grief about his hair really hit the spot for me, especially Lily's remark - and then Remus fixed his hair! Blargh! Crushy R/S makes me weak in the knees, and right now they are jelly and I may never walk again. I am inexplicably, distressingly, in love with the way you introduced Sirius. And his hair! it's so fly-away and perfect, it really caps off the space feel. Of

This is so, so staggeringly beautiful, from start to last. Your art always has such a lush, wistful quality to it, from the flow of the lines and the expressions to the poetry of your words; I love how Sirius is so vibrant here, and Remus is drawn--quieter, if that makes sense. It's perfect for both of them, and it creates this dynamic that's almost tangible--like, you can really, truly feel the tension and the love and the longing here, and I'm just in awe of how brilliantly you've captured so many nuances of their characters and their interactions, sometimes with the slightest shift of lips ( ... )
