I had to wait a few minutes to comment to this, because that ending made me a bit emotional, it's so bittersweet, sad, but hopeful and beautiful too.
This was a great concept, and you did it so well. It felt like watching a film, I was totally immersed. The world you created, the use of magic, all the recognizable characters - it all made a fabulous and very, very enjoyable read. I particularly loved the way you built up the bond between Remus and Sirius. Just lovely!

This was gorgeous! Your world building felt so comprehensive, like there was detail to all of the histories and geographies of the setting, which was lovely to become immersed in. The details of trench warfare with added magic were so well described.

Sirius wanting Remus to strive for his full magical potential while Remus clung to his father's words and his own anxiety was beautifully handled too, the ending that satisfying blend of happy and sad - with room for future adventure. Just lovely :)
