you had me from the first paragraph. i was totally enthralled. your characters were all spot on perfect, but remus was especially good. you have so much insight into both of our boys, the way they move and think. it's like you know their motivations as well as rowling herself, or maybe even better.

and this was the most perfect team muggle piece, too. you really embodied the spirit of the team and what it was all about.

great use of the prompt, too.

I have such a soft spot for fics where Sirius and Remus are raising Teddy together, and I just haven't seen enough of them, so it was great to see one in the games this year! I really liked how tactfully you handled Tonks in it too. All the mentions of James were a great touch as well, very well balanced between him still just being a part of their lives in a way, but the pain of losing him still smarting.

Oh my God, it is like you wrote this story especially for me, since it hits everything I love: Sirius and Remus raising Teddy, getting together late in life, gay Sirius and uncertain, possible bisexual Remus, fun banter etc. And it felt so wonderful and hopeful despite the heavy undertone of Remus' depression. Harry and Ginny were great supporting cast too. I loved, loved this story and it is going straight into my favorite stories bookmark folder.

I also enjoyed the integration of wizards into the Muggle world with rules about appliances.

Thank you so much for writing this!

Oh this was lovely. I really loved your characterisation of Remus. He was so imperfect and so very human with it. There was a really strong sense of their experience, both of them so broken, and the contrast of that against such a simple sort of happiness was so well calculated ( ... )
