The subtle differences in shading and expression succinctly communicate the vast changes in Remus' life, the stark absence of love and the light it brought before.
You are glorious.

This is absolutely gorgeous. I love how you can tell (especially in the first two panels where you have the most comparison) just by having older Remus standing still where above younger Remus is in motion, how beaten down Remus has gotten over the years.
I also really love where you decided to end it. Beautiful work.

This is absolutely wonderful.
I especially adore Remus' face and posture when he's reliving his memories. The bowed head by the table says so much about the utter loneliness Remus is going through.
The black-and-white works exceedingly well here, it lets the images speak for themselves and makes it even more powerful.
Amazing!

And now on a more serious note-wow. I love how you portray their closeness in the flashback scenes as a contrast to Remus’s aloneness in the later ones. Like in the bakery, Remus leaning back against Sirius as they decide what to get, and then Remus looking so sad as he glances backward in the next set of panels. And the way the first set opens with Remus and Sirius walking together, perfectly in sync, while the second set ends with Remus walking alone. Then again with the scene at the stove, and the birthday cake scene-it was just such an effective way to show how much Remus feels Sirius’s absence in his life, from the everyday domestic moments to milestones like birthdays. It just broke my heart for him because you could see exactly what he was missing. So sad and beautiful and of course the artwork was gorgeously done as always.
