heart walloping in his chest, sirius spun around, his face split by an ear to ear grin. remus and lily stood arm in and arm, and remus arched an eyebrow. "are we going to stand around all day, or shall we go help harry give voldemort what for?"

cliche as this may sound, this story was one of those 'i luaghed, i cried,' sort of moments. seriously. i laughed and i cried. not only was it extremely well written, but it was a true joy to read. it was an adventure. it was fun. and your characters felt very real and well thought out. i loved the marauder parts best for the boys were so wittey and real. in fact everyone felt very real here.

good job!

Beautiful BEAUTIFUL writing here. I really enjoyed it. Your characters, Remus in particular, are just wonderful.

The radical shift in the middle did throw me off for a moment but I was instantly engrossed in the world you'd created. Very cool.

And even though this is a Remus/Sirius fest, I enjoyed the Remus/James moment immensely. ;)

I've read this at least three times now, trying to piece it all together, but you should take that as a compliment, because I only go back to a piece over and over if I really like it. I'm still trying to work out how the "Mind Games" section fits in, because the rest of the story is so canon, and that isn't-but still, it intrigued me, especially the last part where Voldemort takes control of Remus. Going back a bit further, I love how James and Lily are so protective of Remus (your Lily is awesome, compassionate and bad-ass at the same time), and how Peter plants seeds of doubt in Sirius, and how Sirius responds, and the Veritaserum-it is just so in character for Sirius to do this because I see him as someone who acts first and thinks about consequences later, and I love that the confession he gets from Remus is what it is. And the ending-wow. I keep going back to the scene where Sirius is reunited with James and Remus and Lily, and them getting ready to meet Harry in the woods in DH. I absolutely loved the feeling of triumph and ( ... )

I adored the beginning and end, but I'm totally lost about the section where it's AU: Is that a dream? Or something from drugs? Or were all the sections in between the "slips" meant as separate plot lines in different worlds? I don't understand haha

I'll go back and re-read it again, but OMG I can't wait until the reveals Mystery Writer because I want to discuss this! I need to pick your brain lol XD

I am so in envy of your style, it's effortless and quick-witted. The friendship between the Marauders was just so genuine. And I've ALWAYS wanted to read a scene where one of them is under Veritaserum and confesses their love for the other! It's so weird to read something so close to what I've always imagined, it's AWESOME!! :D

Great job!

This was such a delightfully transcendental ride. Even the section that was so canon felt a little surreal, like that break in one's dreams where you are absolutely positive that you must've woken up.

Excellent writing style on the whole. It was consistent enough to be a quick read, but it also possessed this hidden ability to mindfuck that got me feeling like this was all a pleasant nightmare disguised as an innocuous dream.

By god, if that made sense to you, I'm glad, because I'm still reeling a little.

Also, wonderful characterisation. Seeing the split between Sirius and everyone else was chilling but felt completely authentic.
