First, let me just say to anyone who might not have read this yet due to the word count, that this is a wonderful magical AU that you do not want to miss out on. Okay, mystery author, now my comments to you. I love the AU you've set up here, and that you release information slowly enough to build suspense but quickly enough to hold interest. I love the way you use dreams and flashback as part of the plot, and the way you've brought the prophecy and James and Voldemort and horcruxes into your very original story. And I REALLY love your explanation for the curse on Sirius's family, and how you reveal it. The budding relationship with Sirius and Remus was really wonderful to read, from the way it takes place in their dreams and then in reality-and the dancing scene! I also love that Sirius wants to protect Remus but at the same time, Remus is the one he trusts with information that is so important. This is truly amazing work.

This is beautifully dark and original. The way you fit the tiny yet all-important back story with the main piece knocked me over. Simply WOW!!!!

I hardly have words for how great this was.

The flow of the whole piece was fantastic, it had this rhythm and just floated up and down throughout and the language you use is pretty and evocative. It almost felt like dreaming, reading this.

You really thought the idea of the curse through, and it was such and unique and interesting idea--one I can absolutely see driving a person mad. I also loved how Sirius used it to his advantage and how the curse is lifted due to his sacrifice and love (that comes across as very "fair tale-ish" in an awesome way).

Great job!

Fantastic AU and very unique. I loved the mood of this story, the darkness, and it fit the prompt wonderfully.
