this was really amazing mystery author. it so funny at first. i laughed though most of it until the end. the end killed me though. i don't want to say too much or i will give stuff away but the ending made me sad.

this part was funny though: “But what if you don't like it? You'll throw me overboard, won't you?” He was struggling to keep his brain functioning, though the resolve was crumbling with each little touch.

Sirius chuckled again, sending puffs of warm breath against his face. “What is your fascination with being thrown overboard?”

“You're pirates, that's what you do. Or maybe you'll put me to the mercy of the rest of the crew. And tell them that I'm a terrible kisser and to have their way with me because I'm useless.” His logic was starting to win out, as terrible and faulty as it was, and his thoughts were coming back together. i think that you did a very good job with remus here and throughout the whole story. he had that wry semi awkward and self effacing quality that he does in cannon. that really made me smile. i ( ... )

I was looking forward to this story ever since you first put up the idea. (And I still have the "Gay Pirates" song in regular rotation - it is addictive). And this story did not disappoint. The beginning especially was fabulous. Really, really funny in dialogue and description and great use of characters and locations we know in their new role. And then, your story turned so serious and I was not expecting it despite the warnings. I felt so bad for Remus.

I loved the bad jokes and the easiness between Sirius's crew. I wouldn't mind joining the marauders, dragons and all. ;D The raunchiness and the brave acts of derringdo makes me very happy, as well, not to speak of Remus's earlier fixation with walking the plank. All in all, I was really crushed at the ending of this, despite the warnings (lol, I had hopes). The poor boys!

This was such a great pirate story! The beginning was fun and adventurous, but then it got so serious so quickly that I was caught a bit off guard, especially with such an angsty ending. :(

Still, I loved reading the interactions between all the characters and I want to cry for Remus at the end.

PIRATES! I love pirates. This was very fun, though I was quite upset with you when you let Sirius die, not going to lie. ;) Remus was a lovely character though. Loved it.
