Everything that could go wrong did. Sounds like one of my roadtrips! :)

I love the boys' banter here - they truly sound like family. This is a fabulous "seize the moment" fic! Well done.

I love this. It's such a wonderful fic that shows so clearly how young they were still when the first war started off, how good friends they were and that muggle road trips can end up with interesting results. *snugs the boys* Beautifully written. :)

Can you imagine what they'd have done with a GPS system?

This was a great way to begin the Games! Very funny! Loved the asides all the way through (like the little one about James attempting to fold the map so many times, but it was eight and two-thirds by Remus' count). Wonderfully written!

It is a map of Britain, but only shows you what you ask for, and then only if you ask nicely. Most of Yorkshire the map has lost out of spite, when James' father swore at it on a somewhat stressful family holiday, while a decent portion of Wales has disappeared into a particularly bad fold.

Fantastic idea for the map! Love it - also really made me giggle that it lost most of Yorkshire out of spite :D lol

Brilliant!

i really, really liked this and i think that you got the spirit of the prompt very well. it very much felt like a road fic. i really liked the bit about the map, too. it was very funny and a good use of magic.
