Normally, Sirius didn't get too concerned when summoned to McGonogall's office. But the moment she offered him a biscuit, he was on guard. McGonogall's office meant punishment-not biscuits.

"Mr. Black, I've asked you here today in reference to Mr. Lupin," she began.

Sirius's unease grew.

"I couldn't help but notice how…discomfited Mr. Lupin has been lately, and as I'm certain his mood isn't related to his condition, I can only assume the issue is personal in nature."

Pallid, Sirius nodded.

"I suggest you reevaluate your treatment of him, Mr. Black, or I'll make you regret it. Understood?"

Dismissed, Sirius fled.

Haha, the protective/threatening talk from McGonagall! I bet Sirius didn't put a toe out of line after that.
