I like that Castiel stands there, just taking Sam's rage and ranting even though he knows it's leading to something big and difficult that he wants to avoid, and it's only when that mess of emotions hits him that he actually flees. Cas, this explains so much about your survival instincts and lack thereof.
Because this was supposed to be part of my nano, which was basically a huge rewrite of season 4 with a sassy slanting, I've actually got this whole 'nother thing that I could attach this to. I might get around to posting the snippets of it of that I actually like.
