Finally really getting online for the first time in like a week. We moved on Monday. I thought I'd miss home more than I do, but I don't. The only thing I'm not diggin' is this damn cold. We moved into a house that was built in the 20's, so it doesn't have central heat or air, so it's been pretty cold. Other than that it's been fine ( Read more... )

Hello *waves*

Haven't seen you on my Flist for a while.

We moved into a house that was built in the 20's, so it doesn't have central heat or air, so it's been pretty cold. Other than that it's been fine.

Does your house look all 20's or is it just the interior structior that's 20's, if you don't mind me being nosey, I just love that decade.

Hi! Yeahhh, I've been busy busy busy. I don't know how much time I'm gonna be able to spend online, but I'm gonna try and make some time for it.

I actually don't know much about architecture and even less about period architecture, but it looks like an old house. The whole neighborhood is old houses, and we're a block away from downtown (which also looks old). Apparently all the wood on the outside was original with the house. When my landlady saw it after the fire she was all "=\ Did they HAVE to cut a hole out?".

Sounds gorgeous. I don't know much myself, I Just really like how everything looked back then, the houses, the fashion.

I better shut up or I'll get all nostagic and start bleating that it's not like the old days!

I have missed you.

That really sucks about the fire. But I'm glad the damage was minimal.

I've missed you, too! <3

Yeah, it was super scary at the time (so much so that all of us forgot that we have a fire extinguisher and instead ran back and forth with bowls of water) but now it's just like, a shit happens moment, you know? But yeah, minimal damage and apparently the landlord isn't super pissed. She was more concerned that everyone was alright.
