I watched The Stinsons. I just... couldn't not. I was doing so good resisting and then what do I see on my flist posted at barneyrobin? A discussion post for said episode. So yeah, I caved. And I don't know what y'all are buggin about. I thought it was a great episode.

I did cave and read spoilers for the second X-Files movie. I was so mad at myself afterwards.

Oh, I didn't know you were holding out watching, I woulda tried to stay strong, but I thought I was the only one left that hadn't seen it haha. colours_unseen caved yesterday, so I thought, fuck it, I'll just watch. Oh well.

I think the continuity (or lack there of) was a wrench for many people.

I've watched it twice. And found I liked it much better the second time.

Orly? I tend to ignore continuity errors the first time I watch things, and then watch it again and start complaining about them, so I think I missed them... hmmm.

well, the big one is Barney's mom's name. She was called Patty in "The Yips" and Loretta here.

Also, it didn't seem like a Robin thing to start shooting the shit with the little kid. Especially on the level of comfort she seemed to be at.

As for the episode itself... eh, I didn't think it was the best, but it was Barney-centric, and I admit that, yes, I really can be that shallow. :D

I don't understand why people wwere upset about it as well. I thought it was a pretty good episode, a nice stand alone. I understand that there was some continuity errors, but I didn't really care. I love Barney and anything that is Barney involved is awesome.

I liked it a lot too. I don't get the controversy. It had more of a sitcomy feel than most eps, but there's a couple of those every season, it seems. (And I don't think there were as many continuity errors as people seemed to think, but I may just be over-rationalizing.)
