I didn't think the writers handled the theme very well. Not only did I find the writing rather questionable, it allowed Suchet and the most of the cast to indulge in bad acting in the last 15 to 20 minutes.

This was my favorite Poirot ever. It explored sides of Poirot that aren't necessarily likable, but that made sense; he's so committed to justice, but what justice IS isn't always clear-cut, and at some point he had to come up against that problem. Naturally, he would be resistant to that; he's always been so one-dimensional in his thinking (there's good and there's bad and that's that ( ... )

I truly loved the shows like Marple or Poirot, but if you read the books, then you are very disappointed. The books make more sense than the TV-Shows - no idea why they twist the plots sometimes :(

I felt that one of the changes in this version - namely the Dr. Constantine character - was well handled by the screenwriter and actor Samuel West. I enjoyed Dr. Constantine's new characterization very much ( ... )
