I can't deal with Lies My Parents Told Me because I don't like Buffy's reaction to Giles at the end of the ep. I hated the writing for Giles the last two seasons in general.

I saw it as necessary. It was about time Buffy view Giles through adult eyes, instead of the eyes of an adolescent.

Spike is one of my favorite characters on the show, even if I'm aware of his flaws.
