I completely agree about The Last Airbender. I greatly enjoyed the movie and it's unfortunate that it didn't receive the credit or audience it deserved.

The Last Airbender.

Unfortunately, if you've read the manga books, or even watched the animation, you would have found the last airbender lacking. the movie was great in my opinion, but it follwoed the cartoon word per word, so there was nothing new to attract the fan base it should have had. I probalby expect sequels to follow the story with nothing new to add which means, I"ll probably wait for then in DVD.

The Sorcerer's apprentice.

Damn me for reading the books first. The movie itself was great, but as usual..it lacks from what a book reading can give you. With that said, I did enjoy the sorcerer's apprentice much more than I did the last airbender.
Nicholas Cage still a good actor with plenty of experience on how to carry movies.
Sequels will probably follow the books, we'll see if they are going to follow the story, or branch off on a tangent.

Just thought I would mention, Avatar: The Last Airbender wasn't a book series. It was only an American TV Show. Any graphic novels that came after (or novels, I suppose) are based off of that, just like the movie is.

You're correct. Mmmm...I was pretty sure I've read Mangas on it. But now that I've checked everything said there were no books. I stand corrected.

What are your thoughts on the casting controversy regarding The Last Airbender?

hi (: just my opinion, but I sense so much wasted potential in the last airbender while I really liked the sorcerer's apprentice much more. And I haven't watch the original animation for either haha.
