I'm afraid it's been awhile since I've watched most of the show, though, so I can't respond in the same detail which you've shown. Again, I did enjoy reading your review! I know this revamped "Upstairs, Downstairs" has not been popular, to say the least. And I agree that that really is a shame.

I had felt the same way when I first heard about the affair. But I believe Heidi Thomas did a good job in setting up it up. My only beef is that it mainly occurred in one episode before the shit hit the fan. I believe she should have allowed the affair to happen in more than one episode.
